LJM addresses internal auditors in Asia
LJM spoke before the participants of the Asian Confederation of Institute of Internal Auditors (ACIIA) Annual Conference held in Bali, Indonesia. He talked about the role of internal auditors in integrated or combined assurance and the importance of risk mapping to ensure that all areas are covered by both internal and external assurance providers. He also explained how integrated assurance can be built from the three lines of defense that will guide the company in making sure that its business objectives are met.
LJM is a former president of the ACIIA and the only Filipino to have been elected to this post.
